LEGAL SOLEMNISER
Legal Wedding Ceremonies in Ireland.
I am a registered solemniser through FuturFaith Ministry, recognised by the General Register Office of Ireland.
Through this nomination, I am authorised to legally solemnise interfaith marriages in Ireland.
This allows couples to have a ceremony that is:
• Legally binding
• Fully personalised
• Inclusive and respectful
• Conducted at approved venues across Ireland
The Legal Process & Requirements
I guide you through each of these steps so the process remains clear and stress free.
Step 01
Step 02
3-Month Notification
Legal Paperwork
You must give at least three months' notice of your intention to marry to a Civil Registrar in Ireland. This is a legal requirement for all civil and religious ceremonies.
During your appointment with the registrar you will need to provide birth certificates, PPS numbers, and pay the registration fee. Chosen witnesses must be over 18. Overseas documents may require additional authentication.
Step 03
Step 04
Registrar Meeting
Ceremony Day
You must attend an in-person interview with the Registrar to sign a declaration of no impediment and receive your Marriage Registration Form (MRF), which you bring to the ceremony.
On your wedding day, I solemnise the marriage with your two chosen witnesses present. Together, you all sign the Marriage Registartion Form( MRF ) to ensure your union is legally recognised.
Legal vs Non-Legal Weddings.
If you want real flexibility on your wedding day, choosing a Solemniser or Legal Celebrant instead of a HSE registrar makes all the difference.
• A HSE registrar can marry you between the hours of 9-5
Monday to Friday.
• I can marry you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no restrictions.
• A HSE registrar is limited to approved venues
•I can marry you anywhere that has public access and an eircode.
Your ceremony, your way – No rigid scripts or standard wording. Every element is personalised to reflect your story, values, and relationship
.
Your wedding should feel like your special day, not an appointment
A Ceremony That Still Feels Personal.
A wedding ceremony is not just a formality. It is the moment everything becomes real.
The breath before you speak your vows.
The quiet squeeze of a hand.
The laughter when something beautifully imperfect happens.
I work closely with you to craft a ceremony that reflects who you are- whether that's light and joy filled, deeply emotional, or a natural blend of both.
No templates.
No recycled scripts.
No cliches.
Just your story, told with warmth, balance, and care.
